A chartered student chapter of SLA – the Special Libraries Association – since 2005, SLA@Pratt endeavors to be your go-to resource for professional development and leadership training, as well as your guide to the plentiful private and specialized library collections throughout New York City.

In addition to giving you a forum to unite with Pratt students and alum, SLA@Pratt is your connection to information professionals in the region. We work closely with the very active New York City chapter of SLA to provide you with avenues to make lasting professional relationships in the field.

Our monthly library tours are a great way to get a behind-the-scenes look at corporate, academic, and museum libraries in the New York metro area. While our tours are open to all Pratt SILS students, SLA@Pratt members get priority RSVP service.

Although local SLA@Pratt events are open to all Pratt SILS students, we encourage you to join the main SLA organization.
